Privacy policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
webAnoid / Chuck Robinson (“webAnoid,” “I,” “me,” or “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information is collected through this website, how it is used, and the choices you have.
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers visitors to webanoid sites and people who contact me through the website contact form or related email.
2. Information I collect
When you submit the contact form, I may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Message contents
- Technical details related to the submission (such as approximate time of submission)
I do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through this form. Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive data in your message.
3. How I use your information
I use contact form information to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Understand your project needs and follow up about services
- Keep a record of the conversation for business purposes
I do not sell your personal information.
4. Tools and processors
Contact submissions are processed using hosting and CRM tools that help me run this website and manage leads. That currently includes:
- Netlify — hosts the site and runs the contact form backend
- HubSpot — stores contact details and related inquiry notes so I can respond and manage follow-up
These providers process data on my behalf under their own privacy and security practices.
5. Legal basis / consent
When you check the consent box on the contact form, you agree that webAnoid may store and process the personal data you submit so I can handle your request. You may withdraw consent or ask for deletion by contacting me (see below), subject to any records I need to keep for legitimate business or legal reasons.
6. Retention
I keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond, maintain a normal business relationship, or meet legal and accounting obligations. If you ask me to delete your data, I will remove or de-identify it where reasonably possible.
7. Your choices
You can:
- Ask what personal information I hold about you from a website inquiry
- Request a correction
- Request deletion of your contact record where applicable
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails if you later receive them (inquiry replies are transactional and may still be necessary to complete a conversation you started)
8. Security
I take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including using HTTPS and limiting access to tools that store inquiry data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children
This site is intended for business and professional inquiries. It is not directed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when material revisions are published.
11. Contact
Questions about privacy or this policy: use the contact form on this site, or reach out via the channels listed on the site.
